Watch Jitwam’s intimate Production 101 session
Check out Jitwam's music production workshop with Arturia at Eaton HK
Globe-trotting soul-savant Jitwam recently toured Asia, starting with four shows in Japan and ending in Jakarta. In addition to making it to Bangkok, the other stop he made was Hong Kong, where he spent a few days getting to know the city’s trendy nooks and corners, whilst getting stuck in with the right folk at the right spots.
Jitwam's music knowledge is applauded by peers, colleagues and fans alike, and his slew of releases including a Deluxe release of his third studio album, aptly titled 'Third' (which just dropped this month), gives a clear impression of his ambitious perspective on a realm of music that melds jazz, soul, disco and house into a global and futuristic sound that is dripping in nostalgia.

But the highlight of his visit to Hong Kong was to connect with young and budding producers and impart his creative wisdom for a Production 101 Workshop at Eaton HK.
Held at the creative hotel’s cosy event space, and with extra support from French synth brand Arturia, Jitwam conducted a 50-minute intimate session that dived into his creative process, songwriting techniques, making the most of sampling and a discussion with Eaton HK’s Curator, James Acey.
