Up High Collective presents a rich tapestry of sounds in ‘Koinonia’ LP
The last single to drop, ‘Galiyon’, showcases the textured soundscape of Indian roads
After a five-year gap since their debut album, producer duo Up High Collective are back with their latest LP ‘Koinonia’, which features the latest and final single to drop, ‘Galiyon’.
The mesmeric track is a three-minute-seventeen-second plunge into the sounds of bass-rich jazz electronica, one that intertwines raw analogue recordings and original Indian music samples.
Guided by the evocative sounds of Indian streets, it features the rhythmic prowess of Lander Gyselinck on drums and fretless bass artistry by Boris van Overschee.

The album 'Koinonia' also features the skills of sitar player Bert Cornelis and numerous other guest musicians who, alongside Up High Collective, meticulously rearranged and transformed live elements, crafting intricate collages that now fill the sonic landscape, all from their sessions at Up High Studio in Leuven, Belgium.
The result is a testament to Up High Collective's far-reaching sonic palette, often described as a fusion of future soul and crispy electronica.
