Ultra Music Festival to debut Resistance in Korea
The event has synchronized its line-up with Singapore
The sixth annual Ultra Korea will touch down on June 10th and 11th this year with the event happening simultaneously with Ultra Singapore. Both events return as full-blown Ultra events but the Korean addition will see the debut of the Resistance stage helmed byUK house royalties Sasha & Digweed who will play back-to-back at the festival.
In fact, most of the line-ups will be shared. Headliners Dash Berlin, Dubfire, Hardwell, KSHMR (Live), Martin Solveig, Nic Fanciulli, Nicky Romero, Sasha & John Digweed, Steve Angello, Tchami (Live) and Tiƫsto will be all performing at both events and crossing flight paths over the South China Sea on the morning of Sunday, June 11. Additionally billed in Seoul is Alesso while Pendulum, Showtek and Steve Aoki play exclusively in Singapore. Further additions are expected when the festival behemoth rolls out phase two.
Ultra Korea will host four stages this year: ULTRA Main Stage, Live Stage and Magic Beach Stage as well as the debut of the Resistance Stage.

ULTRA Music Festival ambitiously entered Asia in recent years, cranking out a whopping eight-city tour of the region this past year with 6 of them happening within a 10-day period. More than 350,000 festivalgoers attended events in Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Bali, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Japan, with 120,000 descending upon Tokyo's Odaiba ULTRA Park alone over the course 3 days. That's not too far off from Ultra's flagship event in Miami that sees 165,000 (55k per day) also over 3 days. The Singaporean leg saw over 45,000 revelers across two days last year.
