Tzusing mints a new label, Sea Cucumber
Listen to the lead number from the first release, high-intensity tune called ‘Panic FM’ by Async Figure
Malaysian-Chinese artist Tzusing announced last week that he was starting a new label. He’s called it Sea Cucumber, and a description reads “sea cucumbers are found on the sea floor worldwide.”
The announcement came with an accompanying 60-second long video that features a man, an airplane and a couple of sea cucumbers.
Not much else was known until yesterday when the label teased its first release by Async Figure, an alliance of British artists MM and Suda. Titled Figure I, it features “three high-intensity, melody-first club statements and marks the first in a trifecta of releases for Sea Cucumber.”
