There is a whole lot of Asia on the bill at Further Future this year

Further Future may be a little out of the way for us in Asia but the organizers, who spend a large part of the year based out of Hong Kong and are involved with regional events like Wonderfruit as well as their own DWYL events, have made sure to bring the region with them instead. There are three artists that will be representing Asia at this year's edition of Further Future, which takes place on an oasis in the Southern Nevada desert and runs from April 29th through to May 1st.

Bangkok based DJ, producer and the man behind Mixmag Asia’s Underground Essentials Kimball Collins will be manning the decks over in the desert. An indisputable veteran of underground music, his rare performances achieve somewhat of a mythical status even in his current home of Bangkok.

Have a listen to Kimball's exclusive mix for Further Future below.

Hailing from Japan, Anchorsong is also on this bill for this year’s event. The artist's mesmerizing performances have been compared to a painter drawing on a white canvas as he creates his music live with a sampler and a keyboard and sometimes even incorporates a string quartet. He’s supported acts like Bonobo and after relocating to London, also scored a Boiler Room appearance.

From the Philippines via California, Low Leaf fuses her electronic beats with string instruments like the harp and guitar as well as the piano. She’s dedicated an entire album to her native motherland and inspired by her many trips there, her music blends traditional with digital and the output is captivating.

And of course there is Swamy, co-founder of Further Future and a half dozen other worldly ventures. He made some serious strides putting Asia, especially Hong Kong, on the map and seriously enriched outsider's perspectives on the music scene here in Asia.

Also on the bill are artists like Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet, Lee Burridge, Caribou, Leftfield, Easy Star All-Stars, Kid Koala, DJ Tennis, Dixon, &Me, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Pharcyde and many more. See the full line-up below.
