The Prodigy’s Maxim launches new event and collective, Club Unity

The Prodigy’s lead vocalist Maxim has launched a new creative collective with a mission to "confront the growing global crisis of social disconnection".

Named Club Unity, the new "interdisciplinary" movement comes from UK musician Maxim, as well as mixed-media artist Dan Pearce and visual artist Takiro.

Club Unity is said to be a response to the digital age of disconnection, and will act as both a cultural statement and "immersive public experience", though few details have been revealed yet.

The movement will explore these themes through art, music, film, and "cultural intervention", with its first event scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 21, at Shoreditch Arts Club.

The first event will go ahead between 3:30PM and 5:PM, unveiling a new sculpture installation as well as original music, an animated short film, and limited edition merch.

Club Unity’s slogan, ‘Love More, More Love’, will act as the central theme. "We are in times of uncertainty, but I believe the answer to our problems is the four-letter word, love," says Maxim.

"We’re exploring how individuals can transform collective experience through a simple, powerful gesture of holding something together," he adds.

Speaking on the new sculpture installation, visual lead Dan Pearce explains: "Art is about creating moments of genuine human connection. This piece isn’t just about what you see, but what you feel when you experience it."

"Young people today face unprecedented division – this sculpture asks them to make a choice: believe in what connects us, not what divides us."
