The Original Wailers & The Cuban Brothers set to enthrall audiences at Ulu Cliffhouse

Bali’s Ulu Cliffhouse will radiate nothing but good vibes as The Original Wailers and The Cuban Brothers present their spectacular musical showcases live on October 22. Picture this; both bands serenade the crowd with jams from yesteryear and potential favourite numbers that are yet to be heard as you take in the majestic surroundings, hundreds of feet above waves crashing dramatically upon the rocky cliff.

Doors open at 2 pm and we suggest you get in early to secure your best possible spot to enjoy the bands. Don’t worry about the views; there are plenty of Ulu Cliffhouse’s panoramic views to go around within its 45,000-square-foot space.

Not that they need it, but here’s a bit of an introduction on The Original Wailers. The group continues to champion the sounds of reggae around the world. How could they not? After all, it was the most famous and important reggae musician (sorry, legend), Bob Marley, who pioneered their establishment. To all lovers of skankin’ beats from rhythm guitars, propulsive percussion play and soulful serenades, this is one band you should definitely have on your musical bucket list. Al Anderson (the guitarist) was handpicked by Marley himself back in 1974; that stunning lead guitar work on ‘No Woman, No Cry’ and ‘Rebel Music (3 O’Clock Roadblock)’ — that’s all Anderson.

Together with The Original Wailers, Anderson has released the Grammy-award-nominated EP 'Miracle’, whose tracks we can’t wait to hear played live while swaying at a blissful Bali locale. Also part of the band are Chet Samuel (lead vocals and guitar), Omar Lopez (bass guitar), Paapa Nyarkoh (drums), and Adrian AK Cisneros (keyboards and organ) who strive to continue the legacy that is Bob Marley and The Wailer’s music.

Joining The Original Wailers are another band of musical brothers; The Cuban Brothers, to be precise. Honestly, the blurb on their website perfectly describes their demeanour — “Entertainment personified”. Looking for a good time? The Cuban Brothers are more than happy to provide. The trio continues to sell out shows all around the world thanks to their lively showcase of scintillating grooves.

Being the infectious force of nature they are, the gentlemen have got more up their sleeves. Prepare those jaws to smile and laugh out loud from the riotous comedy of Miguel Mantovani, Archerio Mantovani and Kengo San aka Los Hermanos Cubanos aka The Cuban Brothers. Whatever you decide to call them, just make sure not to miss their live show at Ulu Cliffhouse.

Still need more convincing? Didn’t think so. For those outside the Island of Gods, make sure to book those flight tickets for the musical extraordinaire that’s about to take place in two weeks’ time.

The Original Wailers and The Cuban Brothers will perform at Ulu Cliffhouse on October 22. Get your tickets here or send an email to [email protected] to book a VIP table.
