The Lighthouse embarks on a takeover series across Vietnam with resident DJs

After announcing a sudden closure in February this year, Ho Chi Minh’s institutional dance floor and rooftop venue takes its signature sounds on the road, across the country, with its ultimate roster of resident DJs.

Starting this month, The Lighthouse will be hosting a series of takeovers featuring resident DJs the club’s former Music Director Steffen Sonnenschein, and resident DJs Alan Ritchie, Ling:Chi, Khoa Bicycle, Tristyan and Jonathan-be.

The rooftop club’s new journey begins on March 9 on Phu Quoc island, followed by electrifying shows at Cafe CS in Saigon on March 16 and Mirage in Hanoi on March 23. In April, The Lighthouse will make waves with takeovers at infamous after-hours spot, Broma in HCMC and Saga in central Vietnam.

Sonnenschein shares with Mixmag Asia, “The time has come to celebrate the revival of The Lighthouse and embark on a musical adventure that will reverberate through the night.”

At the time of announcing the club’s closure just one month ago, The Lighthouse’s team stated to Mixmag Asia that they would “start chapter two of our journey as soon as possible.”

Guess they’re living up to their promise to the legion of punters missing the sky-high action.
