French producer Onra possesses a rare gift for transforming forgotten sounds into the trendiest grooves.

Heavily influenced by 80s and 90s pop, jazz, and soul, his music carries a warm vinyl texture—a seamless interlacing of delicate melodies and laid-back beats.

His most captivating work remains the ‘Chinoiseries’ trilogy, where he reimagines the "old soul" of the East. By blending 60s Chinese opera and film scores into avant-garde beatscapes, he created legendary tracks like ‘The Anthem’, allowing traditional sounds to shine within contemporary hip-hop culture.

His latest 2026 album, ‘After Dark’, invites us into a late-night cinematic experience; through the whispers of synthesizers and saxophones, he composes a soundtrack to the intimacy and solitude of urban life.
