Speaking to Mixmag Asia ahead of the show, Surya shared his excitement: “I'm buzzing to play my first ever gig in Bangladesh. I've been watching the electronic music scene in Dhaka develop from afar, seeing collectives like Bhai Bhai and artists like Dameer building community, putting on raves, and shutting it down.”

He continues, “When I decided to get into music, my primary goal was to make Bangladeshis like me feel seen and to push the culture forward. So to be invited to pull up and represent for my people in Bangladesh is possibly one of my proudest achievements to date.”
Known for his genre-blurring productions and razor-sharp lyricism, Surya has steadily built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices — with standout releases, tastemaker support, and festival appearances cementing his rise.
