Revision presents a night of Breakbeat, Jungle and Drum & Bass music featuring Tamen from Melbourne, Australia. Tamen’s unique take on a darker breakbeat style across a range of tempos has been released on Martyn’s cutting-edge 3024 label and Repertoire [UK], with a forthcoming drop on London’s much-revered Rupture music label in August.

Tamen’s sonic experiments have also been featured on Al Wootton’s Trule Records alongside regular collaborator, Pugilist. Exploring all corners of the UK hardcore music continuum, from half-time tempos to pacier uptempo cuts, Tamen’s hi-energy DJ sets have graced Outlook Festival in Croatia and All Together Now in Ireland, while his club-ready tracks have garnered support from industry icons such as Om Unit, J:Kenzo, Coco Bryce, Laurent Garnier and The Blessed Madonna. With Singapore being a summer tour stop before DJ sets in London, Ireland and Romania, expect cavernous sub-frequency basslines, razor-sharp breakbeats, and darker yet elevated sounds of jungle and drum & bass from Tamen.

"Revision’s last show in February with Tim Reaper was an absolute treat. We saw a dedicated dance floor of discerning dance music minds and bodies locked in all night long. Modern Drum & Bass music, as an extension of 90s Jungle, has seen many reiterations over three decades, with key trends and formulas rinsed, rewound and repeated, while the organic sound of breakbeat Jungle has gone through a mighty healthy renaissance in Europe and the UK for a while now by keeping true to the original sound, backed by modern production technique," says Nez Senja, DJ-Creative/Technical Director at Revision Music.

“Deep down, there is a junglistic bone in every dance music fan. This bone has rattled with pure vibration since 2015 at each and every one of our intimate jungle/drum & bass parties. For this show in July the sound will be tight, the dancefloor loose and styles upfront with Tamen in the mix,” Nez Senja muses.
