SHFT Asia mints new label NIGHT SHFT with the crosshairs on bass & dubstep

One of China’s leading entertainment and nightlife agencies SHFT Asia has further branched out to set up their first record label, NIGHT SHFT.

Priming themselves as a lifestyle movement that focuses on large scale events and activations including warehouse gigs and festivals across China that have seen the likes of DJ Snake to A$AP Rocky, the label promises to gel together consistent music releases, visual content and their lifestyle ethos.

Both the label and the agency are geared towards dubstep and bass music styles, and have often set the trailblazer mark across China’s rap scene too.

NGHT SHFT’s debut release sees dubstep scene protagonists Moxide and Kaiju aka Slaughter House, team up with Miami producer STARX and rapper INDIGOCHXXXREN, who raises the heat levels with his hardcore rap background.

We've been hinted that the label's goal is to muster up the global focus on homegrown Chinese creatives and what the boundaries they're capable of breaking.
