Save the date: ZoukOut picks its weekend wisely

December is bursting at the seams with festivals in Southeast Asia with something like five festivals all happening on the weekend of the 15th & 16th.

One of those festivals is Djakarta Warehouse Project and in previous years, ZoukOut has taken place on the same weekend as its Indonesian counterpart and they've shared many of the same artists, but yesterday the organizers announced that ZoukOut would take place this year on the 8th & 9th of December 2017 in Singapore.

So while fans of dance music in Southeast Asia have to choose between Jakarta Warehouse Project, Wonderfruit, Creamfields and more on the weekend of the 15th & 16th, ZoukOut can now be in done in addition to the above.

The festival did not release any line-up announcements but its known for going all out and it will be interesting to see if they can shake things up for the month.

Early bird ticket sales to Asia’s largest dusk-to-dawn dance music festival begin on August 11th. Programming for ZoukOut runs over 12 hours with the last night of the two-day festival ending only at 8:00am.

This year marks the 17th edition for ZoukOut with an expected crowd of close to 30,000 fans expected to descent onto the sandy shores of Siloso Beach, Sentosa in Singapore. As a pioneer of the dance scene in the region, ZoukOut has over the years spearheaded the festival and dance music scene in Southeast Asia by putting together world-class stage productions, immersive experiences and a promise of some of the world’s biggest names in dance music.
