Rosalía teams up with Björk and Yves Tumor on new track ‘Berghain’

Rosalía has teamed up with Björk and Yves Tumor on a brand new track titled ‘Berghain’.

Named after the famed Berlin club, the new single sees Rosalía try her hand at operatic singing alongside a string orchestra – with some unexpected appearances along the way.

Both Björk and Yves Tumor appear on the track with their own verses, backed by The London Symphony Orchestra, which is conducted by Icelandic composer Daníel Bjarnason.

Rosalía has previously worked with electronic artists including James Blake, Arca, and Olof Dreijer, though this marks her first collaboration with the Icelandic star and American experimentalist.

‘Berghain’ also comes alongside a new music video directed by GRAMMY-nominated filmmaker Nicolas Méndez, following Rosalía over the course of a day where she’s joined by the orchestra.

The track lands ahead of the release of Rosalía’s fourth studio album ‘LUX’ – her first record since 2022 – arriving on November 7 via Columbia Records.

The new album is said to be an “immersive” journey into Rosalía’s mind, with theatrical elements and multilingual tracks all featuring – languages include Spanish, English, German, and more.

Rosalía’s last record, ‘Motomami’, landed in 2022, blending flamenco, reggaeton, and pop with electronic elements. It was her first big breakout album, earning her multiple awards at the annual Latin GRAMMYs that same year.
