Road to Ultra Philippines unexpectedly moves indoors

Just a little over a week before the event, it was announced that there would be a change of venue and a lot of ticket holders are not happy about it.

Without any explanation, Road to Ultra Philippines will now be held on Saturday September 17th at the Mall of Asia Arena. It was previously to be held at the nearby Mall of Asia concert grounds.

Fans have understandably been left disappointed, as the new venue is smaller and covered. Ultra events are typically held outdoors.

Furthermore, the venue is an arena with stadium style seating. There is much uproar on the event page about where festivalgoers are expected to dance.

Ultra is offering GA ticket holders upgrades to standing VIP for a low fee but by the looks of it, disgruntled ticket holder are looking to unload their tickets to avoid either a seated rave experience and it just not being what they signed up for.

Road to Ultra Philippines is one of eight stops that the festival giant has planned for 2016 in Asia, with Alesso, Hardwell, Tiesto, Fedde Legrand, Motti, Jessica Milner, Raiden and Tom Taus all scheduled for this year event in Manila.

Updates are being posted to the events Facebook page regularly.
