Ring in the New Year island-style with 510k and their roster of techno talents

More often that not, New Year's Eve is generally reserved for colorful and boisterous celebrations, douchey parties blasting cheezy chart topping anthems of the year gone by and overpriced champagne. Oftentimes there is no getting around it but this year, pass on the bubbly and save yourself for the 1st because Berlin-based music platform 510k is set to kick off the New Year with a one-day showcase of its cutting-edge techno artists on a tropical island in southern Vietnam.

For the first day of 2017, Berlin’s guru Alexkid, one of the most exciting techno ladies Julia Govor, tech titan Julian Perez and Half Baked’s Rainer will takeover the idyllic beachfront location on Phú Quốc Island that Epizode Festival has secured for their inaugural 2-week long festival. These artists have spent the last year conquering the hottest dance floors from around the world, from the epic FUSE, ENTER, COCOON, Boiler Room events, to Rex Club, Watergate, to Timewarp, Sonar, ADE, Sonus and Sunwaves.

While the showcase lasts just a day, Epizode Festival spans two full weeks with many more showcases and will also host others international artists like Bushwacka and John 00 Flemming as well as heaps of local artists line-up like Dan Buri, Sunju Hargun, Marco Loco and Nakadia.
