RASA’s International Women’s Month event on March 22 blends advocacy & club culture
Partnering with AWARE for a panel on nightlife safety, the night then culminates with high-energy house & ballroom beats by Kiddy Smile

RASA marks International Women’s Month with a line-up of events that highlight both advocacy and music.
Part of the International Women’s Month celebrations begins on March 8 with DJ sets from Bangkok Community Radio Director Takky and Transport resident Pam Anantr closing out the female-forward series of events on March 28.
Before that, the focus shifts to March 22 starting 7pm for a panel discussion on nightlife safety in intersectional spaces, partnering with AWARE (Association of Women for Action and Research).
The conversation will address key challenges faced by women and marginalised communities in nightlife, aiming to promote awareness and encourage bystander intervention.
Following the discussion, RASA teams up with queer party collectives Mismatch and Yum Yum Disco Dong for a night of house music and self-expression.

French DJ, music producer, and LGBTQ+ rights activist Kiddy Smile headlines the event, bringing his signature mix of ‘80s and ‘90s house, gospel, and hip hop.
As a prominent figure in the Paris ballroom scene, Kiddy Smile uses his music and performances to advocate for inclusivity and representation in club culture.
Also on the line-up is Bobby Obby Obby plus local street dance DJs Bolo and pSyk, ensuring an exciting night at RASA.

AWARE’s panel discussion is free to attend, while an entrance fee is needed if you want to see Kiddy Smile’s set.
Whether you’re there for the conversation or the music—or both—March 22 at RASA is about celebrating, learning, and dancing toward a more inclusive future.
Throughout the month, the space also invites an exciting line-up of artists such as Bill Brewster, Sampol, and John Talabot.
