Printworks opened in January 2017 transforming the former printing facility for the Metro and Evening Standard newspaper into one of London’s best-loved clubbing spots.
Last summer, it was announced that Printworks was set to close down for good after Southwark Council approved plans for its renovation.
In September, the venue confirmed it was in “detailed talks” with developers British Land about continuing to operate Printworks following the development of its Surrey Quays location.

No update has been released since then and it continued to confirm in the statement made last year that it was still set to close noting its commitment to “preserving the essence of the iconic Press Halls and retaining the spirit of Printworks for our return.”
Director Of Music, Broadwick Live, Ajay Jayaram has said: “The Closing Weekend at Printworks is an opportunity for us to represent musically what the space has meant to so many people during the last six years.
Jayaram continues: “We’re looking forward to celebrating Printworks’ legacy, and what has been the venue’s role as a cultural stronghold for the electronic music community including artists, labels, DJs, live acts, visual artists and more.”
Pre-sale tickets to the final weekend at Printworks go live at 11AM today here.
