Pendulum, Rudimental & more join Bestival’s debut line-up in Bali
The jaw-dropping venue is unlike anything you've ever seen before
Renowned Australian drum and bass act Pendulum, who be playing an exclusive DJ set in their iconic electronic rock style, have joined the line-up for the inaugural edition of Bestival taking place on Asian soil next month. The UK-born and Toronto-bred festival surprised its fans by announcing its first foray into Asia just two months ago.
Further additions include electro-duo Bag Raiders, multi-instrumentalist Kilter and tech-house powerhouse Colour Castle and they join previously announced acts like Alt-J, Purity Ring, De La Soul, Rudimental, The Cuban Brothers, Rob Da Bank – the festival’s curator - and George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic with further additions still expected. See the updated artwork for the two-day festival below.
Rob da Bank, Bestival curator has said of the line-up: “So here we are upping the ante with our first foray into Indonesia’s festival scene. We’ve got some old-school legends, hip hop wizardry and indie beauties, so we’re adding some serious antipodean vibes with the like of Pendulum, Bag Raiders and Kilter who are all smashing it down under. We’re only a (long) stone’s throw from Australia so you’ve no excuse."
The carnival style festival arrives in Bali on September 30th – October 1st at the lush GWK Cultural Park, which commands breathtaking views of Balinese scenery and culture with over 240 acres of parkland centered around 25-meter high limestone carved cliffs.
