Peggy Gou features on The Batman soundtrack
Other electronic all stars who appear on the 14-track playlist include Patrick Topping, Kevin Saunderson & Alesso
Music fans who went to see The Batman this weekend were pleasantly surprised when they saw that London club Printworks was featured in the movie alongside a more than stellar soundtrack, with electronic music being one of the chief genres alongside classical and opera. Upon closer inspection, several popular names from the electronic music spectrum are listed on the official 14-track playlist.
From Asia, South Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou landed two tunes on the movie, including her 2016 track called ‘Troop’ and an unreleased cut from ‘Darkroom’.
She’s far from the only artist to appear on the soundtrack; Kevin Saunderson and Patrick Topping are billed together for having collaborated on ‘Frisk’ alongside Alesso and Baauer who also landed music in the film.
The film’s dark mood is further captured by music from Beethoven and even Nirvana hits a couple of chords, twice. See the full tracklist below:
