Partiboi69 departs from his typical sound in new track 'Playin’'
Dropping today, February 9, it's the first single from upcoming EP 'Call of the Void'
Partiboi69 has unleashed his latest single, 'Playin’', a tantalising glimpse into his forthcoming EP, 'Call of the Void', slated for release on March 1 with the label Running Back.
The track departs from the hedonistic and in-your-face sound that propelled Partiboi69 to celebrated notoriety. Known for his classics such as 'K On My D+C' and 'Wine Dine 69', the new track 'Playin’' marks a new era for the artist — one exuding maturity and depth while retaining the exhilaration and allure of his beloved discography.
From the outset, 'Playin’' captivates with a burst of euphoric synths, laying the foundation for a journey into a psychedelic and nostalgic soundscape unlike anything we've heard from the Australian icon in a surprisingly serious manner.
