Parallelle’s ‘Sunshine in My Pocket’ is a dual-sided ode to the day’s golden hours

Parallelle returns with ‘Sunshine in My Pocket’a two-track release that offers distinct moods for transitional moments in the day.

Released under DGTL Records, the release is an auditory journey split into two parts: the 'Sunrise Version' and the 'Sunset Version'.

The 'Sunrise Version' breathes life into the early hours with its uplifting grooves and airy vocals. Bright synths lead the charge, layered with a groovy bassline and warm chords that evoke the tranquillity of first light.

Midway, the track takes a reflective pause with swirling synths before bursting back with a euphoric trumpet line. Long story short; it’s tailor-made for sunrise sets.

As Parallelle puts it, “It’s all about renewal, uplifting energy, and embracing a fresh start, with grooves that feel like a deep breath of morning air.”

On the flip side, the 'Sunset Version' slows things down with jazzy brass, deep basslines, and soft spoken word elements that ease listeners into the evening. A warm, sing-along-ready vocal section ties it all together, making it as fitting for winding down a festival stage as it is for lifting spirits at any hour.

Simply put, “It’s a track made to carry you into the night with groove and soul.”
