Overmono, who thrilled the Red Marquee at last year's Fuji Rock Festival, has announced their long-awaited first solo tour of Japan.

Samo of FULLHOUSE will perform as a support act in Osaka.

Overmono is a duo made up of brothers Ed Russell (Tessela) and Tom Russell (Truss), who are at the forefront of UK bass, breakbeats, and techno.

Both released works one after another on Perc Trax, R&S, and Polykicks, which the brothers themselves run, respectively, and formed Overmono as a new step while working hard on their own projects.

In 2016, they suddenly released their debut EP ‘Arla’ on XL Recordings, and in 2017, they released the ‘Arla’ series trilogy, which attracted a lot of attention, and also released works on AD 93 (formerly Whities), run by Nick Tasker.

So far, renowned names such as Four Tet and Ben UFO have played their music on the dancefloor, and they have firmly established their name as a duo.

They have also actively collaborated with Joy Orbison, and their single ‘Bromley’ became a hot topic, with an anecdote that it was played “once every five minutes” at The Warehouse Project in Manchester, which hosts many legendary club events.

They are also actively involved in remixes, having worked on remixes for artists such as Rosalia and Thom Yorke.

Last year, they released their long-awaited debut album ‘Good Lies’ from XL Recordings.
