Omni’s first ever beach party to showcase 12 local DJs at a secret location

Omni is famed for its distinctive open-air events held in secluded settings, and the upcoming Drift beach party is no exception.
Commemorating the Hong Kong event agency's second anniversary, for one night only, the team will transform a secret seaside location into an electronic music haven, complete with a top-notch sound system, captivating lighting, and decor, along with high-quality food and beverages to sustain the energy throughout the event.
As for the line-up, twelve prominent local house and techno DJs will showcase their talents at the picturesque hidden bay, easily accessible by public transport from Hong Kong Island.
Highlight performances include a 100% live hardware set by electronic duo JVSY who will be playing the sunset slot.
AngeliKa, co-founder of techno collective Abyss, will bring her collection of fresh sounds, along with Solicitor and Debby B. of Slimefest, whose sonic presentations navigate through the diverse landscape of decades of rave history.
Also on beat purveyor duties is Gargoyle Girlfriend — the American born visual artist, producer and vocalist who champions a fusion of minimal, house, funk, Afro, Italo disco and more.

The location will be disclosed to ticket holders on the week of the event. All we know is public transport access will be available until before midnight, and there’s a 35-minute walk to and from the venue.

Organisers are also inviting those planning on staying all night to pitch a tent at the venue, free of charge.
Omni Drift will take place from Saturday, January 13, 2024 starting 2pm until Sunday, January 14, 2024, ending at 8am.
