Tokyo-based Yamamori’s musical roots stem from the early sounds of untampered techno, earning his merits from 90’s Detroit and Chicago scenes, mostly through his highly favoured productions. Aside from running his own 951beat label, a Yamamori highlight worth mentioning is his ‘Trinity’ E.P release on Josh Wink's Ovum imprint, which comfortably rested on Beatport’s Techno chart for some time.

For his latest release ‘Rainfall’, Yamamori gets stuck into a mildly tempered ambiance, just luke-warm and fuzzy enough to let synth lines turn hypnotic, like on ‘Fernwood’ and ‘Across the Water’, whilst he instils a hazy, melancholic space throughout the EP. Italian producer Feral steps in on remix duties for the lead track, eponymous to the EP, ‘Rainfall’.
