Lovely teams up with Scrufizzer & Flirta D on explosive UKG/grime floor filler
The infectious ‘Game Plan’ balances the murky with the playful
After almost a year out of the scene, Hong Kong-based artist Lovely returns with two of London’s finest MCs, Scrufizzer and Flirta D for the high-energy single ‘Game Plan’.
Blurring the boundaries between UK garage and grime, the track pairs the two rappers' infectious, rapid-fire flows with murky yet playful production.

After the dramatic introduction, the percussion is what hits off the bat. Deviating from the typical production of its genre, more tribal rhythms make the backbone of the track and these rhythms seamlessly complement classic grime basslines and the unmistakably sharp delivery of Scrufizzer and Flirta D. The off-kilter ad-libs and screeches are madness too.

When asked to describe the track, Lovely simply told Mixmag Asia that it’s “One of them ice cold 2-step ones”. It’s hard to disagree. It’s explosive in execution and has quickly risen to the top of Beatport’s Grime charts.
The track comes coupled with a video that's just as exciting as the track itself, shot in London.
