Likdo launches as a platform to link up music enthusiasts across Asia

Introducing Likdo; your all-in-one, go-to guide for all things related to music in the region. It comes in the form of a website that houses a web magazine plus a ticketing and community platform promoting information on happenings around Asia in the realm of electronic music.

Likdo gets its name from the Vietnamese term “lịch đỏ”, which translates to “red calendar”.

The figures behind Likdo are none other than Minh Nguyen, Ouissam Mokretar and Samy Stouky who are also known as the ones responsible for establishing Savage Hanoi and Equation Festival in Vietnam.

The idea for Likdo first stemmed in 2018 — a time when its creators mention that there was hardly any web magazine supporting open talks for artists, venues and promoters within reach. This drove the team to immediately build and run one of their own, instead of just waiting around for one to appear.

“Joining forces on making Likdo happen was the simultaneously natural and logical next step to get closer to the entire scene in Asia,” mentions Likdo’s press release.

With a team of festival organizers, label owners, club helmers and more running the show, Likdo’s online presence aims to represent and cover the entire regional scene, ultimately becoming a go-to guide for all information on events and artists in Asia.

The beta version of Likdo was launched a month ago as trial uses for Studio Adventure’s NYE party in Phú Quốc, Savage Hanoi’s weekly events and Lumera Beach Festival organised by Exos, assisting ticket sales via its native ticketing system.

Currently, the website is being updated with even more venues and artists from all around the region.

Likdo also allows email-based subscriptions so you can get notified of updates on the site.
