Kygo, deadmau5, DJ Snake and more are heading to Singapore for Ultra

The inaugural Ultra Singapore is shaping up to be one for the records already. First off the festival was recently upgraded from a Road to Ultra event last year to a full-blown two-day Ultra extravaganza this year with the announcement of a brand new iconic venue accompanying it. Today, the first phase of the line-up was released and will see some big names come together in the Lion City.

Afrojack, deadmau5, Kygo, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, DJ Snake and Nero Live have all been billed as headliners in the first wave of artists announced today, along with support by acts like Far East Movement, Jauz and Marshmello. deadmau5 was the only artist who was previously announced as he is part of a worldwide Ultra tour.

The event will be extra special for Norwegian producer Kygo as he will be celebrating his 25th birthday in Singapore, the city in which he was actually born. The Straits Times reminded us of this revelation that was made on a Twitter Q&A last year.

Set to take place on September 10th & 11th, over 50,000 people are expected to attend Ultra Park over the course of the weekend. The locale is situated just across from the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel and provided staggering vistas in every direction. It has also never been used before.

Singapore is one of the few Ultra's in the world to receive the full Miami treatment, with the Ultra Main Stage, the Live Stage and the Resistance Stage all heading to Singapore. The stages will operate from noon until 10:30pm both days.

Early bird tickets are already sold out with advance tickets also almost gone. There will be one last phase of ticketing left. More information on ticketing is available on the website.
