Kolour, Cliché Records & more join Vietnam's Quest Festival
Over 40 acts were added to the bill
Quest Festival caught the attention of a lot people who had never heard of the three-day Vietnamese festival after we ran pictures depicting one of the most serene settings and vibrant atmospheres we’d ever seen.
Well today they’ve added to the their already stacked line-up and included a plethora of Southeast Asia’s heaviest hitters, which is sure to attract more attendees from beyond Vietnam this time around.
Bangkok collective Kolour is one of the most exciting additions to the line-up, bringing with them a six-man team to take over the Quest Embassy for a night, which is a “video mapped geodesic dome that will explode into a multi-sensory feast for the senses.” Coran, Dan Buri, Koish, Martin Goetheer, Mendy and Tek will represent Thailand bringing a blend of house, techno and disco from dusk til dawn.
Hong Kong promotional outfit, agency and record label Cliché Records will take over the Thuy Tinh Stage for a three-day straight showcase of talent that represents their roster. Quality has always been paramount to this group and that’s not something they’re willing to sacrifice as they transition from the club to the great outdoors – they’re bringing with them a Funktion One sound system. For 72 hours straight, artists like Dan Lo, Hibiya Line, Nic Ford, Jack Byrne, Miya, Ocean Lam, Ouissam, Rifain, Sunsiaré and Zac Watz, Graz, Maggie G, Quan and Tok will roll out everything from chunky house to techno and disco.
Other artists added to the bill are Say Yes Dog (LX), Windstar Soul (US), Saigon Dub Station (VN/, Hazard Clique (VN), DJ Soup (AU), Squideye (US), Matt Montez, La Belle Et La Bete (FR), Madamoiselle (VN), Windrunner, MXM (VN), Adrienne Mack Davis and Felicia Cruz (US/VN/ID), ME & HER (SW), Jon Kennedy (UK), DJ Instinct (UK), IPhaze (FR), Somek (UK), 1Dan (UK), Liquid Ross (UK) and Hauswork (SA).
