Kevin Saunderson and son Dantiez link up on first e-Dancer album in 25 years
It marks the “first original” e-Dancer album since 1998’s ‘Heavenly’

Kevin Saunderson and his son, Dantiez, have announced the release of a brand new, eponymous album under their e-Dancer alias.
The record is set to land on May 21 marking e-Dancer’s “first original” album since 1998’s ‘Heavenly’, which Kevin worked on solo as an output for more “underground” styles of techno.
In 2024, Kevin revealed that e-Dancer was entering a new era, with his son Dantiez joining the project. Together, they formed a duo and released their first collaborative track, ‘Melodica’, in October.

‘e-Dancer’, their first full-length project as a duo, is primed to land on One House this spring featuring 10 tracks, each promising to push the sound of Detroit techno to new areas.
"When I decided to make music, my path was to make people dance. It always will be. Dance is happiness; it's joyful,” Kevin explains. “It's a connection between different cultures, races and people worldwide."
“I know it’s in Dantiez's DNA too. When people hear the album, I hope they hear the connection between a father and son on the same path of creating music," he says.

The release of the new record also marks a decade of collaboration between Kevin Saunderson and Dantiez, who first teamed up in a back-to-back set at Chicago House Legacy Session in 2014.
The second single from the record, ‘Emotions’, landed earlier today alongside the album’s announcement, traversing hypnotic techno and warming synths.
