Emily Jeanne launches quỳnh, a new label for psychedelic club sounds
First EP ‘Call Of The Sea’ sees the artist shift toward intricate polyrhythms, atmospheric layers, & hypnotic half-step grooves

Belgium-based artist Emily Jeanne has announced her new label, quỳnh, which focuses on psychedelic club music.
The label’s debut release, which drops on March 7, comes from Emily herself. Titled ‘Call Of The Sea’, it's a four-track EP featuring deep rhythms, hypnotic beats, and intricate percussion.
The name quỳnh comes from a Vietnamese word meaning "queen of the night", a fitting metaphor for Jeanne’s nocturnal sonic world.
Unlike her previous high-energy releases such as the one via PM+, this new label explores fresh and adventurous sonic territory; ‘Call Of The Sea’ is a bold step from her usual productions, revealing a deeper and more experimental side of Jeanne’s artistry.

The EP starts with ‘Wet Skin’, a track built on deep, pulsing kicks that spiral into a dark and hypnotic atmosphere. ‘Count Me Out’ takes a minimalist approach, moving with a light but precise drum’n’bass groove.
The mood shifts with ‘Đồ Sơn At Night’, where bubbling synths and flowing percussion create a dreamlike, immersive experience. Finally, ‘Gone Water’ leans into polyrhythmic psychedelia, with layered beats forming a mesmerising, almost trance-like pattern.

Alongside launching quỳnh, Jeanne stays busy with her residency at Ghent’s Funke Club, where she curates dynamic club nights, and her radio show on Brussels’ Kiosk Radio.
With ‘Call Of The Sea’, quỳnh establishes itself as a platform for adventurous electronic music, reinforcing Emily Jeanne’s role as a forward-thinking artist and curator.
