Joya and Mengzy drop bass-heavy rework of ‘For What It's Worth’

Indie darling Joya and bass enthusiast Mengzy have joined forces for their first-ever collaboration: a remix of Joya's single ‘For What It's Worth’ from her debut EP, ‘She is Joya’, released via Future Future Records.

The original cut has already captivated listeners with its evocative vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Enter Mengzy with her remix, turning the tune on its head and steering it into darker, more atmospheric territory starting from just under the one-minute mark.

The remix feels both fresh and familiar, staying true to Joya’s emotional core while injecting a new, intense energy. Mengzy's UK bass roots shine through, blending diverse influences into a seamless rework.
