John Digweed releases five-part mix and album compilation ‘Quattro III’

John Digweed has released ‘Quattro III’, a five-part compilation record featuring four mixes and an exclusive album from DJ Miles Atmospheric, via Bedrock Records.

It is the third instalment in the legendary DJ’s ‘Quattro’ series, with over 50 exclusive new tracks from the likes of David Morales, Pig&Dan, Frankey & Sandrino, Dino Kenny, Robert Babicz, SOEL and more.

The tracks have been mixed and compiled by Digweed himself, and the record is available in full via CD or digitally online, and a separate five-part 12” vinyl set containing 20 tracks from the release will also be available.

The four mixes have been separated into different, roughly hour-long parts: ‘Soundscape’, ‘Tempo’, ‘Breaks’ and ‘Redux’ – alongside DJ Miles Atmospheric’s ‘Ancestral Communication’ album, which has been presented as a continuous mix.

Talking about the compilation, John Digweed said: “It has been a year and a half since ‘Quattro II’ and I have spent many months searching out some incredible music for the latest edition.

“For me, these albums seem to get better with each edition,” he continued. “I have always been about finding new and exciting music from fresh up-and-coming producers.

“This time I have added an additional CD full of incredible breaks that really add an extra dimension to this series, alongside an artist album from Miles Atmospheric who has delivered some quality warm deep ethereal techno that is a breath of fresh air and complements the other four CDs.”

John Digweed is known for pioneering the progressive house sound of the early 2000s, collaborating with Nick Muir under their Bedrock alias, as well as with Sasha as Sasha and Digweed.
