Jamie xx, PinkPantheress and Damon Albarn announced for Together For Palestine benefit concert

More than 20 artists including Jamie xx, PinkPantheress, and Damon Albarn are billed to play the UK’s “largest ever fundraising concert for Gaza” next month.

Together For Palestine is set to go ahead at London's OVO Wembley Arena on Wednesday, September 17, with “an evening of music, reflection and hope”, hosted by executive producer Brian Eno.

The benefit event aims to raise millions for those in Palestine, with 100% of every ticket purchase donated to Choose Love, who will then distribute the money raised to Palestinian-led organisations providing humanitarian aid.

The first 20 artists revealed to perform on the night include Hot Chip, James Blake, PinkPantheress, Damon Albarn, Greentea Peng, Sampha, Jamie xx, King Krule, and Brian Eno himself.

More acts are still yet to be revealed ahead of the event. According to a press release, some artists will perform “unique collaborations”, while others will debut brand new material created for the fundraiser.

“In the face of the horrors of Gaza silence becomes complicity. Artists have always helped societies to point out injustice and imagine better futures,” says Brian Eno. “That’s why this concert matters. It’s time for us to come together — not just to raise our voices, but to reaffirm our shared humanity.”

The visuals for the concert are curated by theatre director Amir Nizar Zuabi, promising to bring a display of “powerful moments of reflection and hope”.

Speaking on the event, Damon Albarn says: “I, like everyone with a heart, have felt despair and helplessness at the reports coming out of Gaza and the West Bank over these last days, months and years. A genocide unfolding in real time on our screens.”

“I am grateful for this opportunity to act in solidarity with the Palestinian people and also celebrate the music and culture from the region. I hope everyone will join us.”
