Brian Eno announces Together For Palestine fundraiser at Wembley Arena

Brian Eno is set to host a Palestine fundraising event at London's OVO Wembley Arena this September, entitled Together For Palestine.

The legendary musician announced the news via Instagram today (July 31), calling on "artist friends" to take part in the event alongside a poster, which describes it as a "gathering of artists, musicians and people for whom silence feels impossible."

Events company Kilimanjaro Live is behind operations for the event, while Eno, film producer Tracey Seaward, The Crown star Khalid Abdallah, and Khaled Zaida will act as executive producers.

Tickets for the event are priced at £35, with "every penny" donated to "Palestinian humanitarian organisations" who provide urgent aid for families in Gaza. Funds will be channelled through UK-based charity Choose Love.

Brian Eno has been a vocal opponent of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza by Isreali forces, calling on organisations to adopt Boycott Divest Sanction (BDS) protocols.

In May, Eno donated his fee from creating the Windows ‘95 chime to Palestine Aid and published an open letter to Microsoft, calling on the tech giant to “suspend all services that support any operations that contribute to violations of international law".

He was also one of over 100 artists to sign an open letter demanding London-based day festival Field Day adopt BDS guidelines, and distance itself from its owner - investment company KKR - in April.

Pre-sale tickets for Together For Palestine will be available from 10:AM on Monday, August 4. Sign up for tickets, here.
