Jamie xx announces 'In Waves' Asia tour following acclaimed album drop

Jamie xx is taking his new album ‘In Waves’ on a worldwide tour, with Asia in his sights starting this November.

Fresh off two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, the British DJ and producer will bring expertly curated sets to the cities of Manila, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bali.

“Last week the In Waves Tour started in London and I am excited to bring it around the world over the next few months! I cannot wait to return to some of my favourite cities, and to explore some new places too. It’s gunna be special,” he mentions ahead of his Asia visit.

Titled the ‘In Waves’ tour, it celebrates Jamie’s second album, a nine-year follow-up to his debut ‘In Colour’.

Released on September 20, the album dives deep into the emotional intensity of the dancefloor, capturing the highs and lows of a night out with sonic precision.

Drawing from his personal journey through self-reflection, a global pandemic, and a newfound love for surfing, ‘In Waves’ weaves between euphoria and introspection, with tracks like the breakbeat-heavy ‘Treat Each Other Right’ and the lush, nu-disco anthem ‘Life’ with Robyn.
