Hong Kong boutique electronic music events company Omni is going back into the forest on Saturday November 19 with the all-day/evening event Cocoon, our final experience in the jungle until spring 2023 and again featuring a diverse range of acclaimed Hong Kong DJs.
Cocoon will feature two separate stages spread over an intimate venue completely surrounded by nature. Our 100% privately owned location is hidden deep in the jungle far from civilization, so we are assured of both privacy and security.
“Cocoon” is a reference to the many butterflies at our venue and also to the transformation our city is undergoing as we emerge from several years of darkness. Inside its cocoon, the butterfly undergoes one of the most extreme and exquisite transformations in all of nature, and we will be providing you all with a positive space where you have the freedom to make a transformation of your own, surrounded by like-minded people and the healing power of music.
Our main stage is the Omni Stage, focusing on house/techno, and we have a killer lineup of deep, dreamy sounds planned. The stage will feature Clockenflap festival co-founder and Robot crew DJ Mike the Unstoppable, local DJ legend Darka, “the Disco Doctor” JayMe, and the return of Major Tom (A Squared) with the much-loved Ellbe Chan opening the stage with some perfect daytime vibes.
And our second area is the intimate Cocoon Stage, focusing on bass music, which will feature an eclectic mix of bass-heavy sounds from dubstep, garage and drum n bass courtesy of DJ Lovely (Wonton Bass), rising local producer/DJ Farrah, Dark Metaz boss JFÜNG and the Unchained man himself Immuno, plus the legendary Blood Dunza (Heavy HK) opening the stage with a deep dub reggae set.
So join us in the jungle for 10 hours of non-stop electronic music heaven, soak up the natural surroundings, enjoy the company of the butterflies and refuel at our pop-up food stall and bar. This is a covid-safe event, so please bring photos of your vaccination certificate and a negative RAT test taken that same day.
