Introducing Dafbau, Hong Kong's latest club night blending East and West. Named after the ancient Greek plant Dafni, symbolizing peace, and the Bauhinia flower from Hong Kong's coat of arms, this new series celebrates harmony and cultural fusion.

Created by OMA Music Director Anthony2 alongside Stelios Vassiloudis, Dafbau offers a unique experience with extended b2b sets at OMA, keeping the music fresh and engaging.

Anthony2 has been a prominent figure in Hong Kong's underground music scene for over a decade, renowned for his unique blend of techno sounds. Starting with residencies at well-known venues like W Hotel, Social Room, Volar, Portico and the 10 to 10 vinyl-only parties, he quickly gained recognition across Asia. His international journey took off in 2007 with a trip to Ibiza, where he immersed himself in various techno subgenres, refining his craft over the years with appearances at prestigious clubs worldwide.

Holding residencies at numerous venues in Hong Kong and supporting acts like Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth, Anthony2's focused and consistent sets have earned him praise and a reputation as a top-tier selector. Recently, he has taken on the role of music director at OMA and is collaborating with Typhoon 8 Records on two EP releases, adding to his impressive musical legacy.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a composer, producer, and DJ from Athens, Greece, known for his innovative approach to electronic music. He has a strong connection to John Digweed's iconic Bedrock label, where he's released several tracks and albums that reflect his diverse influences and technical expertise.

Stelios's latest album, ‘Human Damage Human’, is a standout release on Bedrock, showcasing his ability to weave together various genres like trip hop, electronica, and jazz into a cohesive sound. His debut LP, ‘It Is What It Is,’ also on Bedrock, established him as a key contributor to the label's enduring success in the electronic music scene.

Dafbau's bi-monthly residency merges international vibes with Hong Kong's vibrant nightlife. Anthony's deep knowledge of the local scene and Stelios' global perspective create a dynamic partnership that drives the party. Each event is a journey through diverse sounds, carefully curated to keep the energy high and the atmosphere electric.

As Dafbau grows, the duo plans to invite special guest DJs, showcase local talent, and take the brand international with appearances at festivals, clubs, and pop-ups.
