Hong Kong Community Radio continues its 2021 annual fundraiser with a debut compilation

Hong Kong Community has approached its fourth year as an independent radio station, which is no easy feat for a platform that relies on internal funding and artist support while supporting artists and hosts throughout their programming.

As a continuation of their Annual Fundraiser, for the first time, they’ve decided to reach out to the community for support by means of a compilation, one that truly represents their input and output as a station, but that is also representative of Hong Kong’s new wave of artistry.

‘HKCR Annual Fundraiser 眾籌計劃 Compilation 2021’ features 16 hosts and affiliates from the station, and funds raised will go supporting their hunt for a new studio space as well as enhancing their web presence for smoother listening.

Amongst the many local artists listed on the compilation are ASJ, Cloudy Ku, Misty Penguin and QQBBG, who’ve each been hitting Mixmag Asia’s radar over the few months.
