Heading to Mystic Valley Festival in Thailand? Here is everything you need to know
All we gotta say is...woah nelly
With the debut edition of Mystic Valley Festival just around the corner, the finishing touches have been made to the line-up, maps of the site have been made available and stage designs have been teased. There has also been an influx of information updated so we've gathered it all into one place for you.
First of all, let it be known that the weather at the Mystic Valley site was 21°C this week. Apparently, this cooler weather is expected to last 2 weeks. Fingers crossed.
Mystic Valley Festival will be held February 3-5 at the Mountain Creek Resort in Khao Yai and can accommodate up to 20,000 festivalgoers. As such, 3-day 3-night tickets are still available for THB 2,990 with VIP tickets going for THB 5,490. There are also some seriously ballin' VIP & VVIP packages that are making us rethink our current plans starting at THB 99,000 for 6 people and including big perks.
Hotel packages including transportation to and from Bangkok as well as from the hotel to the festival are also available and can be purchased here. For those who prefer sleeping under the stars, camping is free but if you're lacking a tent, both tents and sofa beds can be rented for THB720 each however are limited in quantity.
Shuttles can take festivalgoers to and from Bangkok for THB 290/single trip. If you're considering driving, the site is a 2-3 hour drive from Bangkok depending on traffic and there are 3,000 car parking spots located at the site. There are also plenty ride share options floating around on the Internet here. Find the Thai address for local drivers here.
Most importantly, there will be 8 stages covering various music genres from EDM, trance, techno, house, drum n bass, trap and nu disco. The site will also be complete with a pool party facility and a secret stage at an undisclosed location (that screams afterparty if you ask me). Construction of stages is well underway and don't expect traditional stage design, progress pictures on the festival's Facebook page depict elaborate and fully immersive stage designs.
