Harriet Jaxxon tells the 'Story of Women' on new single

Harriet Jaxxon has shared her new single 'Story of Women', which sees the DJ and producer add a unique spin onto her drum 'n' bass sound.

The single weaves together elements of acid house, techno synths and warped electronica with gritty drum 'n' bass, finalised by looping vocals to craft a dancefloor-ready cut.

'Story of Women' follows Jaxxon's recent collaboration with MC GQ, 'Find A Space', and adds a new dimension to her sonic identity which emerged solidly in the drum 'n' bass realm with 2020 debut 'The Sound'.

"Inspired after watching a documentary on women in electronic music during lockdown, I decided to channel my own passion about the subject into the place that matters to me the most; the music," she explains.

This summer, Jaxxon has a plethora of tour dates in the diary including slots at Boardmasters Festival, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds which are set to flit between all avenues of her drum 'n' bass influenced soundscapes, tied together by rolling beats and hard-hitting twists and turns. Alongside such, she plans to continue work on her fashion brand 'XX', exercising another creative muscle as the brand's founder and designer.
