Giolì & Assia confirmed to play Singapore's Garden Beats Festival 2020
The first phase line-up also includes British Indie band Foals
Singapore's Garden Beats Festival has just announced the first phase line-up for its 6th edition in 2020. Apart from British indie band Foals and American R’n’B songstress Sabrina Claudio, techno fans can look forward to the electronic duo Giolì & Assia's performance on the main stage of this experimental festival.
Giolì & Assia are two young Italian artists who do it all: Stylist Assia DJs and sings, while classically trained Gioli writes their songs and is a live multi-instrumentalist. They both produce together. These two talented ladies established their own record label, Diesis Records in 2016 and a stream of their live shows called 'Diessis Live' appears on Youtube and Facebook. Their sound is uniquely tuneful and tribal, as they blend techno, house, indie and nu-disco elements together into a sonic pot pourri. Check out their incredible video from the Aeolian Islands:
Eco-friendly Garden Beats Festival will be held on February 29, 2020 at Fort Canning Park, Singapore. Apart from music, attendees can enjoy arts and nature throughout the day/night, and learn more about living a greener life. More acts will soon be revealed, so keep an eye on the link here.
