Get Physical celebrates 21 years by reissuing iconic 'Body Language'

To celebrate its 21st year, Get Physical has reissued one of its most successful tunes from 2005, 'Body Language'.

Originally a M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade cut, the new edition will be available both on vinyl and digitally (and on streaming platforms for the first time ever) and comes with added remixes from Patrice Bäumel and HOSH.

Bäumel's remix aligns with the German's deep house and techno sonic identity, overhauling the chunky house drums and melodic hook with deeper hitting drums and a tense build up before listeners are reunited with the iconic melody.

Following this is fellow German artist HOSH's remix. To his cut, he winds in fresh broken beats to power the cut before an atmospheric hit is introduced before the melody is once more introduced before playing out over suspensive grooves.

"Body Language is one of those songs which come to you as a reward when you spend countless hours, days and months in the studio and it surprises you from one moment to the other," Patrick from M.A.N.D.Y. explain on the original cut, which can also be found on the reissue. "It’s a kind of magic sometimes as our beloved Freddy said it very well.”

"We spend many days on the first demo idea of Body Language but it didn‘t come together," adds Walter from Booka Shade. "We had great parts and sounds but the main element and magic was missing. Patrick and Philipp had to leave for gigs in Ibiza and they wanted to test the track there. Suddenly, in the last minute, the universe send me the bass-line and moved my fingers in the right direction. After that, the rest was piece of cake. Patrick had the great idea of the long pause in the middle of the song, we did some changes in the arrangement after the guys testing and the rest is history… teamwork in the best possible way!"
