FFKT announces its return to the fairytale-like forests of Nagano

Caribou, Theo Parrish and Maayan Nidam top the bill for this year’s FFKT set to take place on May 30 - 31. Much like most Japanese festivals, the rest of the bill is exquisitely curated and features the crème de la crème of electronic music from Japan and beyond. See the current line-up below with more names still expected to come:

The festival debuted last year and by the looks of things, last year was pretty magical. Taking place at Kodamanomori in Nagano, the grounds look like an adventure park for kids on a campsite. Its location is tucked away deep into the forest and is reported to have a fairytale-like atmosphere (much like most things in Japan).

FFKT is an incarnation of Taicoclub, which was a long-running Nagano-based event that ended in 2018 after 13 years. FFKT stands for Festival Formally Known as Taicoclub. Last year saw an eclectic bunch head to hills of Nagano with Mount Kimbie, Luke Vibert, DJ Nobu, Powder, Chee Shimizu, Hibiya Line, MIIIA and Mendy Indigo all playing. the festival also has a long-standing relationship with the festival Nick The Record.

FFKT takes place on May 30 - 31 at the Kodamanomori campsite in Nagano. Tickets can be purchased here.
