Taiwan’s eel fest is making a grand return for its second edition at Dome Theater (圓頂劇場) in Taipei on November 16, bringing together a dynamic mix of international and local talent, along with a focus on cutting-edge art.

Co-hosted by Taiwan’s iconic club FINAL and event collective PURE G, this year’s line-up pushes the boundaries of both contemporary electronic music and avant-pop both locally and internationally

Following the festival's successful debut last November with acts like Ben UFO and Tzusing, the sophomore event appears to be even just as eclectic and immersive.

This year, there’s an impressively comprehensive roster of artists including Italian synth maestro Caterina Barbieri, Japanese techno legend DJ Nobu, NYC’s queer icon Juliana Huxtable, Taipei’s dark duo LUDU & XTRUX, British internet heroes Two Shell, Japanese rapper Tohji, and the ever-unique ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U.

The Dome Theater itself becomes a canvas for artistic expression, with minimalist laser and visual installations shaping the atmosphere through delicate plays of light and shadow.

Sculptures by Italian artist VVXXII and Japanese installation artist runurunu further elevate the sensory experience, merging music and art in a boldly avant-garde cacophony for all the senses.
