Eastern Margins returns to Asia for extended tour

After a successful six-city run in Southeast Asia at the end of May, London-based collective Eastern Margins once again heads back to our part of the globe, bringing along with them a number of label artists. This time, it’s a whopping 15-stop trip, spanning East Asia.

Travelling to Mainland China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, the month-long tour from September 28 to October 28, 2023, will also deploy specially-made merchandise in collaboration with Carhartt WIP.

Eastern Margins have also tapped into and included local creative collectives for this tour, including CANTEEN (Tokyo), Yeti Out (Hong Kong), Triple Happiness Club (Hong Kong), Divine Heem (Seoul), Seoul Community Radio (Seoul), D1S (Guangzhou), SILK (Beijing), Over My Body (Taipei) and Function Lab (Hangzhou).

Lumi and LVRA — who will perform on most of the dates — will lead their posse of hi-NRG party starters around the region, traversing the margins of East Asia’s rapidly evolving electronic scenes.

Among them are Australian-Korean band 1300 with their K-pop dystopia sound, kawaii hardcore idol QQBBG, Asian rave revivalist Dirty K, gabber experimentalist Numb’n’dub, local legend of Taiwan Wu Hun and prodigal multi-hyphenate Jex Wang.
