Eastern Margins & Live from Earth bring collaborative tour series to Asia
Live From Margins: Found Friends Leg 2 lands in Seoul, Tokyo & Shanghai with Billionhappy & MCR-T headlining
London collective Eastern Margins and Berlin label Live From Earth bring their Live From Margins series to Asia this month, with shows in Seoul on November 6, Tokyo on November 7 and Shanghai on November 13.
Titled Found Friends Leg 2, the run centres on exchange between underground scenes in Europe and Asia. It follows the series’ first leg in June, which visited Barcelona, London and Berlin with Thaiboy Digital, Frost Children and Effie x Eurohead.
As before, Eastern Margins and Live From Earth pair artists from different communities to see how independent music travels across borders.
Chinese artist Billionhappy, who represents Eastern Margins, and Berlin’s MCR-T, who represents Live From Earth, appear at all three shows of this leg.
Billionhappy is associated with China’s Nu China scene and mixes internet culture with hyperpop, cloud rap and experimental hip-hop. His 2026 single '小牌大耍' has circulated widely on Chinese social media, and his feature on kegøn’s ‘TESLA’ has brought him a Japanese audience.

MCR-T blends Miami bass, booty house, ghettotech and hard techno, and has played Berghain and EDC. His collaboration with horsegiirL, ‘My Little White Pony’, brought him wider international attention.
The tour opens at BLANK SITE in Seoul with local collective AMC (A MASS CULTURE). THE DEEP, ETIC, RUI of f5ve, Audiogothh, Jibin of Y2K92 and Ria join the headliners.

The following night moves to WWW X in Shibuya, in collaboration with CANTEEN’s party series attic. Billionhappy returns to Tokyo for the first time in three years, and the show is MCR-T’s first performance in Japan. Also on the bill are lilbesh ramko, PAS TASTA, kegøn and Yurushitenyan.
The final date is at REACTOR in Shanghai. The line-up includes 劣 (L.I.E) from Chongqing, 麻伊 who draws on Chinese grime and rap, and genki026 whose sound incorporates hardcore, gabber and deconstructed club music. Local collective Undergr00ves (UDG) is also set to perform.
