Disco Pogo announce Andrew Weatherall tribute book
The follow-up to Jockey Slut's 'A Tribute To Andrew Weatherall' comes with the "blessing, approval and full cooperation" from the late DJ and producer's family
Disco Pogo is set to publish a new 300-page book celebrating legendary DJ and producer Andrew Weatherall.
A Disco Pogo Tribute to Andrew Weatherall is described as a follow-up to 2020's Andrew Weatherall: A Jockey Slut Tribute, which featured interviews conducted by the now-defunct magazine between its active years of 1993 and 2004, the founders of which later established Disco Pogo.
The book is the fourth in Disco Pogo's 'A Tribute To' series following similar editions celebrating Daft Punk, Aphex Twin and LCD Soundsystem.

100 pages of the new book will consist of "the best bits" of Jockey Slut's tribute, with a further 200 pages covering "new oral histories, essays, interviews, photos and artwork plus a comprehensive family tree, timeline, discography and gear list".
Set to be released on July 15, the book also features an interview with Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, oral histories on his early years, and a celebration of his artwork and his NTS Radio shows.
