Creamfields cancels its big Bangkok debut in December
Previously planned as the festival’s largest edition in Asia to date, organisers cite delivery challenges & have initiated refunds
Creamfields’ anticipated Bangkok debut will not go ahead this December, marking the festival brand’s second cancellation in Asia this year.
The event, scheduled for December 13-14 at Muang Thong Thani and expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees, was set to feature Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Steve Angello, CamelPhat, Far East Movement and others.
Organisers announced the cancellation with a brief statement on their website, citing “challenges that prevent us from delivering the experience our fans deserve.”
The Bangkok event had been promoted as Creamfields’ largest outing in Asia, building on the momentum outlined earlier this year when organisers highlighted plans for four stages, a 33,500-square-metre indoor setup, and a production design intended to streamline operations and avoid weather disruptions.

The announcement arrives months after the Hong Kong edition was withdrawn in similar fashion, making this the festival’s second scrapped Asian date in 2025.
Refunds will be issued in full, with credit-card purchases processed within 60 working days and bank-transfer or cash payments within 15 days.

The cancellation lands at a moment of heightened interest from global festival brands in Thailand.
Though Rolling Loud also withdrew its scheduled Thai edition earlier this year, Tomorrowland has secured a government-approved five-year deal and EDC launched its first local instalment in January.
