Unlike many places in Asia, club culture in Bali relies heavily on tourism. But with tourism not expected to return to the island for months, if not years, the future of Bali’s many clubs and music brands is endangered, and the existing model unsustainable.
In honor of Earth Day, Club Conscious together with Mixmag Asia invites leaders from the music community to band together and find ways to survive as one, united industry. In a roundtable conversation held on Sunday April 25, event organizers, club owners and industry leaders will share their vision and roadmap to reopening in an open discussion. The panel will also explore ways that, when clubs do finally reopen, they do so more in a more sustainable way, and participants will be asked to make one pledge for the planet that the can focus on this year.
